Vivo X300 Pro

Vivo Nepal has officially unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the Vivo X300 Pro, and this time, the brand has surprised everyone with an aggressively competitive price. Interestingly, the phone is even more affordable in Nepal than in India. Alongside the launch, Vivo is also offering attractive early-bird benefits, including cashback deals and discounted accessory bundles.

Let’s take a closer look at what the Vivo X300 Pro brings to the table, including its design, performance, camera system, battery, and official price in Nepal.

Vivo X300 Pro Overview

Display and Design

The Vivo X300 Pro sits at the top of the X300 series and is Vivo’s most premium offering for now (with the X300 Ultra expected later). The phone measures 161.98 x 75.48 x 7.99mm and weighs 226 grams, giving it a solid flagship feel in hand.

Compared to the compact 6.31-inch panel on the standard X300, the Pro model features a much larger 6.78-inch BOE Q10+ OLED display. This panel offers a 1.5K resolution (2800 x 1260 pixels), 120Hz refresh rate, and an impressive 4500 nits peak brightness. You also get 2160Hz PWM dimming and circular polarization 2.0, which helps reduce eye strain during prolonged use.

In terms of build quality, the X300 Pro comes with IP68/IP69 certification, making it resistant to dust and high-pressure water. Vivo has opted for a slightly beveled aluminum frame this time, moving away from the fully curved glass design seen on the X200 Pro. In Nepal, the phone is available in Phantom Black and Wilderness Brown color options.

Performance and Software

Powering the Vivo X300 Pro is MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9500 (3nm) chipset, making it the first smartphone in Nepal to feature this processor. Given how powerful last year’s Dimensity 9400 was, expectations are naturally high for this new flagship SoC, especially in terms of performance and efficiency.

The device is paired with 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring smooth multitasking and fast data access. On the software side, the phone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, which Vivo recently introduced.

Vivo has also integrated new AI features, including AIGC large model support for landscape creation and AI-based customized beauty modes, enhancing both creativity and photography.

Camera System

Photography is one of the biggest highlights of the Vivo X300 Pro. It features a Zeiss-branded triple rear camera setup, led by a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor with gimbal OIS for improved stability.

Alongside it, you get:

  • 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide camera
  • 200MP Samsung HPB periscope telephoto lens with 3.7x optical zoom

The telephoto camera supports OIS and offers CIPA 5.5-level stabilization, which Vivo describes as a major leap in long-range photography. It also benefits from Zeiss T* coating, APO certification for better chromatic aberration control, and fluorite glass elements.

For selfies, the phone houses a 50MP front camera with a 92-degree field of view. Additionally, Vivo has included two dedicated imaging chips—the VS1 for pre-processing and the V3+ for post-processing—along with a custom focus-tracking engine for better motion capture.

Battery and Charging

The Vivo X300 Pro is backed by a large 6,510mAh battery, which is noticeably bigger than the regular X300’s battery. It supports 90W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging, ensuring quick top-ups.

Good news for Nepali buyers: Vivo includes the charger in the box, which is becoming increasingly rare in the flagship segment.

Additional Features and Accessories

Other notable features of the Vivo X300 Pro include:

  • Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner
  • Dual stereo speakers
  • X-axis linear motor
  • Universal Signal Amplification System 3.0 with a 1+4 chip design

Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, IR blaster, USB 3.2 Gen 1, and even kilometer-level network-free communication.

Vivo has also introduced a Beidou Satellite Communication Edition of the X300 Pro, available in a 16GB + 1TB configuration, designed for users in areas with limited cellular coverage.

Moreover, the Vivo Zeiss 2.35x Telephoto Teleconverter Kit, previously launched with the X200 Ultra, is fully compatible with the X300 Pro.

Warranty

The Vivo X300 Pro comes with a 2-year extended warranty, along with one-time breakage and water damage insurance, valid for the first 6 months.
