After launching the 4G variant earlier this month, Xiaomi has now introduced the Redmi 15C 5G. While the design and most features remain unchanged, the brand upgrades the phone with 5G connectivity and a new chipset. Display and Design
The Redmi 15C 5G retains the same large 6.9-inch IPS LCD display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It features a waterdrop notch that houses the front camera.
Xiaomi has slightly increased the phone’s size and weight compared to the 4G model. It measures 8.2mm in thickness and weighs 211 grams, making it a bit heavier in hand.
The device comes in three attractive color options: Midnight Black, Dusk Purple, and Mint Green. It also maintains an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.

Performance and Software
Xiaomi brings the biggest upgrade in performance. The Redmi 15C 5G replaces the Helio G81 chipset with the more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 6300, built on a 6nm process.
This chipset includes two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz, delivering better performance and efficiency. The Mali-G57 MC2 GPU handles graphics tasks smoothly.
The phone comes with 4GB of RAM and offers 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. Users can expand storage further via a microSD card.
On the software side, the device runs Android 15 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 on top, offering a modern and optimized user experience.

In terms of optics, the Redmi 15C 5G features a 50MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture. It supports 1080p video recording at 30fps.
On the front, Xiaomi downgrades the selfie camera to 8MP, which also records videos at 1080p.
The phone packs a massive 6,000mAh battery, ensuring long-lasting usage. It supports 33W fast charging, so you can quickly top up the battery when needed.
