Realme P4 Power

Realme has officially launched the Realme P4 Power in India, and it’s already turning heads for one reason above all else — its gigantic 10,001mAh battery. This is not a typo. At a time when most smartphones stop at 5,000mAh or 6,000mAh, Realme has gone all in, making the P4 Power one of the biggest-battery smartphones you can buy right now.

Realme P4 Power Overview

Display and Design

The Realme P4 Power features a large 6.8-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a sharp 1.5K resolution (1280 × 2800 pixels). It supports a 144Hz refresh rate, making scrolling and gaming feel extremely smooth. Realme also claims an impressive 6,500 nits of peak brightness, along with HDR10+ support and 1.07 billion colors for vibrant visuals.

To protect the screen, Realme uses Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, adding durability against scratches and drops.

Despite packing a massive battery, the phone maintains a manageable 9.08mm thickness and weighs 219 grams. Realme introduces a unique “TransView” split-back design, where the lower half uses a matte finish to conceal the battery, while the upper transparent section reveals internal components like the NFC coil.

The phone also delivers excellent durability with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, making it resistant to dust, water, and high-pressure sprays. Realme has additionally drop-tested the device from 1 meter and tested it against flat compression. Color options include TransSilver, TransOrange, and TransBlue (also known as Power Silver and Flash Orange in some regions).

Battery and Charging: The Real Star of the Show

The highlight of the Realme P4 Power is its 10,001mAh silicon-carbon battery, one of the largest batteries ever seen in a mainstream smartphone. Outside of rugged phones, very few devices come close to this capacity.

Realme claims the battery will retain at least 80% health after 8 years or 1,650 charge cycles, which is impressive for long-term users.

According to Realme, a full charge delivers:

  • Up to 32 hours of YouTube playback
  • Around 12 hours of BGMI gaming
  • Approximately 21 hours of navigation
  • Up to 12 hours of 4K video recording

Even with just 5% battery remaining, the phone can still handle 4 hours of calls or over 1 hour of navigation.

Charging remains fast despite the massive battery. The phone supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, reaching 50% in about 36 minutes. It also offers 27W reverse charging, allowing you to power other devices. Realme even claims it can charge an iPhone 16 Pro to 50% in just 27 minutes.

Performance and Hardware

The Realme P4 Power runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra, a 4nm midrange chipset designed for efficiency rather than raw flagship power. While it’s not the most powerful processor in its class, it easily handles daily tasks, gaming, and multitasking.

You can configure the phone with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, along with virtual RAM support, and up to 256GB of fast UFS 3.1 storage.

To manage heat, Realme includes a vapor chamber cooling system and a large graphite sheet. There’s also a HyperVision+ AI chip that enhances visuals, improves HDR, handles motion processing, and assists with frame interpolation during gaming and video playback.

Camera Setup

On the back, the Realme P4 Power features a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS, delivering stable and detailed photos. It pairs with an 8MP ultra-wide camera offering a 112-degree field of view.

For selfies, the phone uses a 16MP Sony IMX480 front camera. Video recording tops out at 4K at 30fps.

The camera app also includes several AI-powered features such as AI Edit Genie 2.0, AI Instant Clip, AI Perfect Shot, AI LightMe, and AI StyleMe, helping users enhance photos and videos effortlessly.

Software and Connectivity

The Realme P4 Power ships with Android 16 out of the box, layered with Realme UI 7.0. Realme promises 3 years of Android OS updates and 4 years of security patches, which is solid for this segment.

Connectivity options include dual-SIM 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, USB-C, and NFC. For security, the phone uses an in-display fingerprint scanner.
