HONOR has officially launched the HONOR X9e Pro, a new X-series smartphone that puts durability, battery life, and outdoor usability at the forefront. The phone packs a massive 11,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, a 6.8-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display, a 108MP OIS main camera, and IP69K water and dust resistance.
The X9e Pro also supports up to 3-meter drop resistance and underwater use at depths of up to 10 meters, making durability one of its key selling points. On top of that, it brings the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset, 80W wired charging, and MagicOS 11 based on Android 16.
In this article, we look at the HONOR X9e Pro price in Nepal, specifications, features, and availability in detail.
HONOR X9e Pro Overview
Design and Durability
The HONOR X9e Pro follows the rugged yet premium design language of the X9 series. It features a flat frame and a large circular camera module on the rear, giving it a similar appearance to the HONOR X9d.
HONOR offers the phone in four color options: Deep Purple, Dawn Gold, Reddish Brown, and Midnight Black. The metallic-style finishes give the phone a more premium appearance despite its focus on durability.
Durability is one of the biggest highlights of the X9e Pro. HONOR says the phone can survive drops from up to 3 meters and has received SGS 5-star drop-resistance certification.
The phone also carries IP69K, IP69, and IP68 ratings for dust and water protection. HONOR claims that the X9e Pro can even withstand water immersion at depths of up to 10 meters. However, these ratings come from controlled testing, so real-world resistance can vary depending on usage and conditions.
The phone also features Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and MIL-STD certifications, adding another layer of protection against everyday drops and impacts.
6.8-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED Display
On the front, the HONOR X9e Pro features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 1280 x 2788 pixels. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which should provide smoother scrolling, animations, and gaming.
The display can reach up to 10,000 nits of peak brightness, while its HBM brightness reaches 2,000 nits. This should make the screen easier to see outdoors, particularly under bright sunlight.
HONOR also covers the DCI-P3 color gamut and includes several display-focused features, including:
- 3,840Hz PWM dimming
- AI Defocus Display
- AI Circadian Night Display
- Dynamic Dimming
The narrow 1.3mm bezels around the top and sides further improve the phone’s screen-to-body ratio and give the front a more immersive appearance.
Overall, the display combines a high refresh rate, high resolution, and strong brightness with eye-care features, making it suitable for multimedia, gaming, and everyday use.
11,000mAh Battery with 80W Charging
The 11,000mAh silicon-carbon battery is arguably the biggest feature of the HONOR X9e Pro.
HONOR claims the battery can deliver up to 164.5 hours of music playback, 66.8 hours of video playback, and 35.6 hours of short-video playback under its testing conditions. With such a large capacity, the phone should comfortably handle extended periods of streaming, gaming, browsing, and other everyday tasks.
The X9e Pro supports 80W HONOR SuperCharge, which helps reduce charging time despite the unusually large battery. It also supports 27W reverse wired charging, allowing the phone to charge compatible accessories and other devices.
For comparison, the previous HONOR X9d featured an 8,300mAh battery. The X9e Pro therefore brings a significant increase in battery capacity.
If long battery life is your priority, the X9e Pro’s 11,000mAh cell is one of its most notable advantages.
108MP OIS Camera
For photography, the HONOR X9e Pro features a dual-camera setup on the rear. It includes a 108MP primary camera with OIS and a 5MP ultrawide camera.
The main sensor measures 1/1.67 inches and supports both optical image stabilization (OIS) and electronic image stabilization (EIS). These technologies help reduce camera shake and can produce more stable photos and videos.
The main camera can also record video at up to 4K resolution.
HONOR has added several AI-based imaging tools to the phone as well. One of the more interesting additions is the underwater camera mode, which allows users to capture photos and videos while the phone is submerged.
The phone also supports AI Image to Video 2.0, which can transform still images into short AI-generated videos.
For selfies and video calls, the X9e Pro features a 16MP front-facing camera housed inside a hole-punch cutout.
Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 Performance
The HONOR X9e Pro gets its processing power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5, a 4nm chipset designed for mid-range smartphones.
HONOR pairs the processor with its Hummingbird Architecture 2.0, which aims to improve performance consistency and system responsiveness.
The chipset should handle everyday tasks such as web browsing, social media, video streaming, multitasking, and photography without major issues. It should also support popular mobile games such as PUBG Mobile and Call of Duty Mobile, although gaming performance will depend on graphics settings, thermals, and the individual game.
The phone comes with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. HONOR’s RAM Turbo technology can also use internal storage to provide up to 24GB of virtual memory.
MagicOS 11 and AI Features
On the software side, the HONOR X9e Pro runs MagicOS 11 based on Android 16.
HONOR has integrated several AI-powered tools into the software. One notable feature is AI FreeGrip, which can detect how the user is holding the phone and adjust certain interface elements accordingly.
The software also works alongside the phone’s AI camera and display features to provide additional customization and convenience.
