OPPO has expanded its Reno 16 lineup with the new OPPO Reno 16F, which succeeds last year’s OPPO Reno 15F 5G. The new model focuses on delivering a well-rounded experience with a bright AMOLED display, a large 7,000mAh battery, a capable MediaTek chipset, and several AI-powered features.
The Reno 16F also brings upgrades in areas such as durability, camera capabilities, gaming performance, and charging. In this article, I’ll discuss the OPPO Reno 16F price in Nepal, specifications, features, and availability in detail.
OPPO Reno 16F Overview
Design and Display
The OPPO Reno 16F features a clean and modern design with a squarish camera island on the rear. The module houses three cameras and an LED flash, giving the phone a familiar Reno-series look.
The phone measures 158.16 x 74.93mm, while its thickness varies depending on the color. The Pop White variant measures 8.58mm thick, whereas the Twilight Violet and Dream Purple versions measure 8.44mm. It weighs around 195–197 grams, partly due to its large battery.
OPPO has also equipped the Reno 16F with IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, giving it a high level of protection against dust and water. The phone also uses Crystal Guard glass on the front for added durability.
Up front, the Reno 16F features a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution of 2372 x 1080 pixels. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which should make scrolling, animations, and gaming feel smoother.
The display can reach up to 1,400 nits of brightness in High Brightness Mode (HBM), making it easier to view content outdoors. It also supports 10-bit color depth and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, allowing the screen to produce vibrant and accurate colors.
OPPO has also added Splash Touch and Glove Touch support. These features allow the screen to remain responsive when your fingers are wet or when you are wearing gloves.
Camera and Battery
For photography, the OPPO Reno 16F features a triple-camera setup on the rear. It consists of a 50MP f/1.8 primary camera, a 50MP f/2.8 telephoto camera, and an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera.
The telephoto camera supports up to 3.5x optical zoom and comes with OIS, while the primary camera also benefits from optical image stabilization. This setup should provide detailed photos in daylight while helping maintain image quality in lower-light conditions.
For selfies and video calls, the phone packs a 50MP f/2.0 front-facing camera with autofocus and a 100-degree field of view. Both the front and rear cameras can record 4K video at 30fps. The rear camera also combines OIS and EIS to provide more stable video footage.
Battery life is another major highlight of the Reno 16F. OPPO has fitted the phone with a massive 7,000mAh silicone-carbon battery, which supports 80W wired charging, 55W PPS charging, and reverse wired charging.
According to OPPO, the phone can charge from 0 to 100% in around 62 minutes using its supported charging technology. The company also claims that the battery can comfortably last more than a day for casual users and can handle extended periods of heavier use.
Performance and Software
The OPPO Reno 16F gets a performance upgrade with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy, built using a 4nm process. This replaces the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 found in the previous Reno 15F 5G.
The chipset focuses on balancing everyday performance, gaming, and power efficiency. OPPO has also included AI HyperBoost 3.0, which helps optimize frame rates, temperature, and system performance during gaming.
OPPO says the Reno 16F can maintain up to 90fps for five hours in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang under its Pro Gamer mode. The company also claims up to 60fps for a similar period in Free Fire. Actual gaming performance can vary depending on settings, temperature, and usage conditions.
The phone also includes the Game Master Toolkit, which provides additional gaming-focused controls and optimization features.
For memory, the Reno 16F comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Nepal variant listed below, however, comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
On the software side, the phone runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. OPPO has added several AI-powered tools aimed at productivity, creativity, and everyday tasks.
One of the notable additions is the AI-powered Snap Key, a dedicated side button that lets users quickly access selected functions and AI features without having to navigate through multiple menus. OPPO previously introduced a similar feature on its Find X lineup.
