iQOO, the gaming-focused sub-brand of Vivo, has officially launched its latest flagship smartphone — the iQOO 13. As expected from the brand, this device strongly targets mobile gamers and performance enthusiasts. It brings a powerful chipset, a dedicated gaming chip, an advanced cooling system, and ultra-fast charging.
In this article, we’ll explore everything about the iQOO 13, including its design, performance, camera, specifications, and expected price in Nepal.
iQOO 13 Overview
Built for Gamers
The iQOO 13 runs on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Built on a 3nm architecture, this powerful chipset clocks up to 4.32GHz, making it one of the fastest mobile processors currently available.
To further enhance gaming performance, iQOO has added its Q2 dedicated gaming chip. This chip enables smoother gameplay by supporting 2K resolution gaming at up to 144FPS, delivering a highly fluid gaming experience.
To maintain consistent performance, the phone features a massive 7K vapour chamber cooling system, which iQOO claims is the largest cooling solution ever used in its smartphones. This system effectively dissipates heat, ensuring stable performance during long gaming sessions.
Another gaming-focused feature is the Warhammer vibration motor, which delivers 4D gaming vibrations for a more immersive gameplay experience.
Powering the device is a 6,150mAh Blue Volt battery that supports 120W fast charging. Interestingly, the phone can also reach up to 100W charging speeds with compatible third-party chargers.
Additionally, the phone supports bypass charging, allowing the device to draw power directly from the charger while gaming. This feature reduces heat generation and protects the battery’s long-term health.
Design and Display
The iQOO 13 continues the brand’s gamer-centric design language while maintaining a premium flagship look.
Although the overall design resembles its predecessor, iQOO introduces a unique “Monster Halo” lighting system around the camera module. Users can customize this lighting with 72 different lighting combinations, including 6 dynamic effects and 12 color options. This feature resembles the RGB lighting commonly found in gaming PCs.
On the front, the phone features a large 6.82-inch Q10 Everest display, developed in collaboration with BOE.
This advanced 8T LTPO AMOLED panel offers:
- Up to 144Hz refresh rate
- 2K resolution (1440 × 3168 pixels)
- 1.07 billion colors
- DCI-P3 color gamut
- Peak brightness of 1,800 nits
The new Q10 LED lighting material improves display performance by delivering:
- 12.5% higher brightness
- 33% longer display lifespan
- 10% lower power consumption
The display also includes several eye-care technologies that reduce eye strain, visual fatigue, and dry eye symptoms, making it more comfortable for long gaming sessions.
Camera and Other Features
Despite its strong focus on gaming, the iQOO 13 also offers a capable camera system.
On the back, the phone features a triple-camera setup, where all three sensors are 50MP.
The camera system includes:
- 50MP primary camera with a VCS Bionic flagship sensor
- 50MP telephoto lens with up to 4× lossless zoom
- 50MP ultrawide camera
For selfies and video calls, the phone includes a 32MP front camera housed in a center-aligned punch-hole cutout.
