OnePlus has officially unveiled its latest flagship killer, the OnePlus 13T, in China. The phone arrives with a refreshed design, a powerful flagship chipset, and an unusually large battery packed inside a compact body. With these upgrades, the 13T positions itself as a strong competitor in the premium smartphone segment. In this article, we will take a closer look at the specifications, features, and expected price of the OnePlus 13T in Nepal.
OnePlus 13T Overview
New Design and Display
The OnePlus 13T introduces a completely new design language for OnePlus smartphones. It features a sleek glass back protected by OPPO Crystal Shield Glass and a durable metal frame that gives the phone a premium feel.
Despite its flagship hardware, the phone remains compact. It measures just 150.81mm in height and 71.70mm in width, and weighs only 185 grams, making it one of the most pocket-friendly flagship phones of 2025. Interestingly, OnePlus has replaced its signature alert slider with a customizable action button, offering users more flexibility.
For durability, the device carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
On the front, the OnePlus 13T sports a 6.32-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 2640 × 1216 pixels. The panel supports a dynamic 1–120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth scrolling while conserving battery. With Dolby Vision support and peak brightness of up to 1600 nits, the display delivers vibrant colors and excellent visibility, making it ideal for media consumption and gaming.
Top-Tier Performance
Powering the OnePlus 13T is Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Built on a 4nm process, this octa-core processor can reach clock speeds of up to 4.32GHz.
The chipset works alongside the Adreno 830 GPU, clocked at 900MHz, providing strong graphics performance for gaming and demanding applications.
To manage heat efficiently, OnePlus has equipped the phone with a 4400mm² VC cooling system with a 3D structure positioned close to the chipset.
The device comes with 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, ensuring fast performance and plenty of storage for apps, photos, and videos.
In China, the phone runs ColorOS 15, based on Android 15. However, the global variant is expected to ship with OxygenOS 15.
Cameras
For photography, the OnePlus 13T features a dual-camera setup on the rear.
The primary camera uses a 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an f/1.8 aperture, allowing it to capture detailed photos even in low light. It is paired with a 50MP telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom, along with OIS and an f/2.0 aperture.
The phone supports 4K video recording at up to 60fps, making it suitable for high-quality video capture.
On the front, the device houses a 16MP selfie camera capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps. However, it does not support 4K video recording for selfies.
Battery and Additional Features
One of the standout features of the OnePlus 13T is its massive 6260mAh battery, the largest battery ever included in a OnePlus smartphone.
The device supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, allowing users to quickly recharge the phone and stay powered throughout the day.
In terms of connectivity, the phone offers support for 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and dual 4G VoLTE. It also supports multiple satellite navigation systems, including GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS, ensuring accurate positioning.
