Vivo has officially launched the Vivo V60 in Nepal, targeting users who want a premium mid-range smartphone with strong cameras, long battery life, and a refined design. With Zeiss-backed cameras, a large silicon-carbon battery, and Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 7-series chip, the Vivo V60 looks well-equipped for its price segment.
In this article, we’ll take a closer look at the Vivo V60 specifications, features, official price in Nepal, and availability.
Vivo V60 Overview
Display and Design
The Vivo V60 features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth visuals and sharp details. The panel reaches 1,500 nits of peak brightness in normal use and can go as high as 5,000 nits while viewing HDR content, making it easy to use even under bright sunlight.
In terms of build quality, Vivo has gone all out this time. The phone comes with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, which is still rare in the mid-range segment. The display is protected by Schott Xensation glass, replacing the more common Gorilla Glass.
Despite packing a massive battery, the V60 remains fairly slim at 7.5mm thickness, while the weight ranges between 192g and 201g, depending on the color variant. Overall, it carries Vivo’s familiar premium design language with a solid in-hand feel.
Performance and Software
Powering the Vivo V60 is the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, Qualcomm’s latest mid-range chipset built on a 4nm process. While it doesn’t bring a massive performance leap over the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 seen on the Vivo V50, it should still deliver reliable day-to-day performance, smooth multitasking, and stable gaming.
Vivo offers generous memory configurations, starting from 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, going all the way up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. Although the phone uses UFS 2.x storage, real-world performance should still be perfectly fine for most users.
On the software side, the Vivo V60 runs Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 right out of the box. Vivo has also promised 4 years of Android OS updates and 6 years of security patches, which is reassuring for long-term use.
Camera System
Vivo continues its collaboration with Zeiss for the V-series, and the Vivo V60 comes with a capable triple-camera setup. It includes a 50MP IMX766 primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP IMX882 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide lens.
The addition of a periscope telephoto camera is a welcome upgrade and should help with portrait shots and zoom photography. However, the downgrade from a 50MP ultrawide sensor on the previous generation to an 8MP unit is a noticeable compromise.
On the front, the Vivo V60 features a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus, which should deliver sharp selfies and high-quality video calls.
Battery and Charging
One of the biggest highlights of the Vivo V60 is its 6,500mAh battery, especially considering how slim the phone is. This is made possible by Vivo’s use of a high-density silicon-carbon battery, a technology that’s becoming increasingly popular in newer smartphones.
The phone supports 90W FlashCharge, allowing it to charge quickly, and it also includes bypass charging, which helps reduce heat and battery wear during extended gaming sessions.
