Vivo Y300 Pro+ Overview
Vivo has officially introduced the Vivo Y300 Pro+, a new mid-range smartphone that stands out with an ultra-large battery and a smooth AMOLED display. The device packs a silicon-carbon battery, a capable Snapdragon chipset, and fast charging support, making it an attractive option for users who prioritize endurance and performance.
In this article, we take a closer look at the Vivo Y300 Pro+ specifications, features, and its expected price in Nepal.
Battery and Charging
The highlight of the Vivo Y300 Pro+ is undoubtedly its massive 7,300mAh silicon-carbon battery. While rugged smartphones often push battery capacities beyond 10,000mAh, the Y300 Pro+ sets a new benchmark among non-rugged mainstream smartphones.
Vivo claims the battery can deliver:
- Up to 25.4 hours of video playback
- Around 15 hours of gaming
To complement the large battery, the phone supports 90W fast wired charging via USB-C, ensuring quick top-ups despite the huge capacity. However, wireless charging is not supported.
Despite housing such a large battery, the phone remains impressively slim at 0.31 inches in thickness. It also comes with an IP54 rating, offering protection against dust, rain, and minor splashes.
Performance and Processor
Under the hood, the Vivo Y300 Pro+ is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, a reliable mid-range processor designed for smooth daily performance and efficient multitasking.
The smartphone is available in two memory configurations:
- 8GB RAM + 128GB storage
- 12GB RAM + 512GB storage
These options should comfortably handle everyday tasks, gaming, and long-term usage.
Display
On the front, the Vivo Y300 Pro+ features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2392 × 1080 pixels. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering fluid scrolling and smoother animations.
In terms of brightness, the display is impressive:
- Peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits (HDR)
- 1,300 nits full-screen brightness
Combined with thin bezels, the display offers an immersive viewing experience for both media consumption and gaming.
Camera Setup
For photography, the Vivo Y300 Pro+ sports a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.79 aperture, using the Sony LYT-600 sensor (1/1.95-inch). It is paired with a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots.
On the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera, suitable for video calls and social media photography. The device also features an in-display fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking.
