Infinix has officially launched the Hot 70 Pro in Nepal, bringing a refreshed design and several notable upgrades to its popular Hot series. The phone combines a 144Hz display, MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, 50MP Sony camera, and a large 6,000mAh battery, making it an appealing option for everyday use, gaming, and entertainment.
The Hot 70 Pro also stands out with its unique rear finishes, durable build, IP68 rating, and MIL-STD certification. In this article, I’ll cover everything you need to know about the Infinix Hot 70 Pro, including its design, display, performance, cameras, battery, specifications, official price in Nepal, and availability.
Infinix Hot 70 Pro Overview
Design and Display
The Infinix Hot 70 Pro gets a refreshed design that gives the phone a more distinctive appearance than its predecessor. Infinix offers the phone in six different rear finishes, with a mix of glossy, textured, and patterned designs. These include Thermo Orange, Mirage Green, Silk Glow Purple, Depth Ring White, Night Pulse, and Dive Blue.
The rear panel also features a vertically positioned rectangular camera module that complements the phone’s flat frame. Infinix has added an Active Matrix cube LED display around the camera module, giving the rear design a more eye-catching appearance. The back panel can also change color under UV light, adding another visual element to the phone.
Durability is another highlight. The Hot 70 Pro carries an IP68 rating for protection against dust and water, while its MIL-STD certification adds additional durability against everyday knocks and accidental drops.
Moving to the front, the phone features a 6.76-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2344 pixels. The panel reaches up to 950 nits of brightness, which should provide better visibility in bright outdoor conditions.
The 144Hz refresh rate is another major highlight. It makes scrolling through apps feel smoother and can also provide a more responsive experience in supported games. Overall, the display should be well suited for everyday browsing, video streaming, and gaming.
Performance and Software
Under the hood, the Infinix Hot 70 Pro packs the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, built on a 6nm process. This is the same chipset found in phones such as the Tecno Pova Curve 2, so the Hot 70 Pro should offer a solid balance between everyday performance and power efficiency.
The chipset can handle regular tasks such as social media, web browsing, video streaming, and multitasking without much trouble. It should also provide a decent gaming experience with popular titles such as PUBG Mobile and Free Fire at medium to high graphics settings. However, more demanding games like Genshin Impact may require lower graphics settings for a smoother experience.
For users who prioritize gaming, alternatives such as the POCO M8s and Nothing Phone 3a Lite may also be worth considering in this price segment.
In terms of memory, the Hot 70 Pro comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. You can also expand the storage using a microSD card if you need additional space.
On the software side, the phone runs Android 16 with XOS 16 out of the box. Infinix’s latest interface brings a refreshed look along with several AI-powered features designed to improve the overall user experience. The company also promises up to three major Android upgrades.
Camera
For photography, the Infinix Hot 70 Pro features a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera on the rear. The sensor should capture detailed photos in good lighting and handle everyday photography, social media posts, and casual video recording with ease.
On the front, the phone features an 8MP selfie camera housed inside a hole-punch cutout. It should be sufficient for selfies, video calls, and social media content, although users looking for stronger camera performance may find better options in this segment.
Low-light photography could be the area where the Hot 70 Pro falls behind some of its competitors. If camera quality is your top priority, alternatives such as the HONOR X8d and Redmi Note 15 5G may offer a more appealing camera experience.
Battery and Charging
The Hot 70 Pro packs a large 6,000mAh battery, which should comfortably get most users through a full day of regular use. The large capacity also makes the phone suitable for users who spend a lot of time browsing, watching videos, or gaming.
When you do need to recharge, the phone supports 45W wired fast charging. Infinix also includes 10W reverse wired charging, allowing the Hot 70 Pro to charge compatible accessories or other devices.
The phone additionally supports bypass charging, which can be useful during extended gaming sessions by supplying power directly to the system instead of relying entirely on the battery. This can help reduce heat and battery stress during prolonged gaming.
