Vivo iQOO 3 5G Officially Released | SD865, Quad Camera and 55W Fast Charging

Recent news highlights that Vivo has expanded its iQOO brand. As a successor of Vivo iQOO Pro, Vivo officially released Vivo iQOO 3 5G in China. They are also working on the Vivo iQOO Pro 4G variant which is expected to be released at the end of February in the Indian market. Three variant of Vivo iQOO 3 5G has been released in China. So let’s find out what are the features and specs Vivo IQOO 3 5G will get?

Overview of Vivo iQOO 3 5G
Vivo iQOO 3 is one of the good looking smartphones with a punch-hole display. At the front, we can see a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED panel with a 16MP front-facing camera in the top right corner of the display. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Chipset and for better photography quad rear camera are arranged correspondingly to Galaxy S20 series.

Display and Design
The 6.44-inch Super AMOLED panel used in the Vivo iQOO 3 5G has an FHD+(1080X2400 pixels) resolution adapting 20:9 aspect ratio. This panel will provide a better viewing angle, vivid and color-saturated images. Similarly, it supports HDR 10 content for better media consumption activity. To make the device performance smooth Vivo used traditional 60Hz refresh rate panel with 180Hz touch sensing technology in Vivo iQOO 3 5G. With all the hardware and features it seems like iQOO 3 5G is the flagship smartphone of Vivo in 2020.

Chipset and Performance
The official information states that Vivo iQOO 3 5G will incorporate Snapdragon 865 Chipset. This is the latest and greatest chipset of Qualcomm and is 25% more powerful and 20% more power-efficient than its predecessor Snapdragon 855. The combination of SD865 CPU with Adreno 650 GPU, any daily tasks like media consumption, internet surfing and playing game will have no issues while running. Everything will look smooth and fluent as they have also used faster RAM and UFS 3.1 Storage technology. Three variants 6/128GB, 8/128GB and 12/256GB has been released.

The back of Vivo iQOO 3 5G has a huge camera housing to incorporate a quad camera. The primary 48 MP f/1.8 sensor can capture decent photos and videos. Similarly, there is an 13 MP telephoto lens and a 13MP ultra-wide lens. To provide a background blur effect a dedicated 2MP depth sensor is provided.

At the front, Vivo implemented a 16MP f/2.0 selfie shooter in a punch hole. Which coupled with AI scene sensing technology assist to capture beautiful selfie photos. Regarding video recording 4K video can be captured up to 60fps, FHD video can capture up to 240fps and HD video can be captured up to 960fps.
