Motorola Moto G Stylus Releasing Soon
Overview of Motorola Moto G Stylus
The major feature of Moto G Stylus is that they are providing a Stylus with this model which has similar functionality of S Pen we have seen in Galaxy Note devices. Moto G Stylus will have a 6.36-inch punch-hole display, triple rear camera setup, and Snapdragon 665 Chipset. Since Moto G Stylus is going to be released in an event on 23 February. we wish Motorola will use the latest Snapdragon 765 Chipset in Moto G Stylus instead of old Snapdragon 665 Chipset.
Motorola Moto G Stylus will have a 6.36-inch IPS LCD panel at the front. This panel has FHD+(1080×2280 pixels) resolution with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The display looks good with adequate color saturation and a better viewing angle. But they are not as good as AMOLED and OLED panel. In the front panel, there is a punch hole at the top left corner to house 25MP front-facing camera. There is noticeably less bezel in Moto G Stylus and the display is not curve.
Chipset and Performance
According to the leaked information, it seems like Motorola will use Snapdragon 665 Chipset coupled with Adreno 610 GPU. The octa-core chipset can handle the normal daily task but their performance is limited. This chipset can not properly handle CPU and GPU intensive applications and games, but uses will not feel any lagging issues while doing media consumption, internet surfing, and casual gaming tasks. As the latest Snapdragon 765 Chipset has already been announced by Qualcomm, we hope Motorola to use these chipsets for better performance. It seems like Moto G Stylus will have a 4/64GB variant which also supports external microSD cards.
Motorola Moto G Stylus has a triple rear camera setup at the back. The main 48MP f/1.7 camera sensor uses Laser AF technology for a faster shift of focus point. Similarly, there is a 16MP ultrawide sensor which will be specifically used for video recording at 1080p resolution. Additionally, there is a 5MP depth sensor for better background separation in photos. The main camera can record 4k (2160p @30fps) video and FHD (1080p up to 120fps) video, but there is no OIS and EIS stabilization technology used. Users can use an ultrawide lens for 1080p videography which used gyro-EIS technology for better stability.
Regarding the front-facing camera, Moto G Stylus has a 25MP selfie camera embedded in a punch-hole display. This front camera is capable of recording the FHD shot at 120fps.
Battery and Other Features
Motorola Moto G Stylus has a bigger 5,000 mAh battery that can last for up to 2 days of casual usage without the need for charging. Similarly, this battery also supports 18W fast charging to decrease the charging time. About connectivity, Moto G Stylus supports dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11 ac), Bluetooth V5.0, GPS, FM Radio, USB Type C, etc. The good news is Moto G Stylus also supports 3.5mm headphone jack and there is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
